  • Sleeter Bull Golf Tourney Recap

     

    Despite heavy rains the night before, 10 alumni and 7 undergrads met at Wendell Country Club on August 6th. This year marked the 7th annual tournament for Nu Chapter. For pictures from the event, please see the photo gallery. If you are interested in playing next year, the date has been set tentatively for Saturday, August 4th.

 

  • Chapter Makes Donation to Charity


    Brothers Zack Greenhill and Joe Poindexter recently visited the Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI) headquarters in Pittsboro, NC to deliver a check for $500. RAFI representatives said that it was the largest private donation made all year. This donation was the result of the money raised at the chapter's Ag Bash benefit concert last semester- the first philanthropy effort made by Nu Chapter in several years. We aim make it an annual event.

  • Mark Phillips Featured in “SICKLE & SHEATH”

    Hey AGR Brothers,
    One of our Nu Chapter Brothers, Mark Phillips, is featured on p.4 of the Winter 2011 issue of Alpha Gamma Rho’s “SICKLE & SHEAF” Magazine. Mark started work with AGR National several months ago as a Chapter Consultant and has already gained national fame in his travels. Check it out and if you have not received your copy, let me know and I will get extra copies. Incidentally Mark will be the guest speaker at this year’s Founder’s Day Luncheon on April 9th . Let’s give him a big turnout. Your invitation will be in the mail in a few days.
